Luke's friends!

A big thing happened for Mister Man yesterday! He cut his first two teeth. Yes, the bottom two teeth have finally made their appearance! We were wondering when it was going to happen because he has been teething since he was 3.5 months old. He won't let anyone see them and gets mad if you try to look. He will stick his tongue over them so you cant even get a glimpse. But they are there, we felt them. If he ever lets me see them, i will post pics of his pearly whites!

Here are a couple of pictures of Luke's buddies from our class we take at the library. They were also in our class at the Aquatic Center too. Luke is on the left, Isaac in the middle, and Ava on the right!

He loves playing with other babies, but he is into taking their toys away right now. hmm...we will have to work on that!! hahaha We also went out to lunch with Christin and Ava after class. And we are all going to the Children's Museum on Monday! that will be fun.

Hey everybody! Today I am 7 months old. Mommy and Daddy said they can't believe how big I am and that it has been 7 months since I was born. I heard them talking over dinner tonight about all the things I have learned this past month or so.
1. I can roll over in all directions now and quite easily I might add.
2. I am sitting for very long period of times now and mom can leave the room and I will still be sitting there playing with my toys until she comes back. I know...I'm a pretty good boy!
3. I can get up on my hands like I'm about to crawl, but I don't know how to get my knees up yet. My dad said tonight he gives me two weeks and then I will be crawling. We'll see about that!!
4. I am also drinking all kinds of yummy juices and have gone down to only 4 milk bottles a day.
5. I love the foods that Mommy and Daddy eat! I have tried bread, popcicles, french fries, mashed potatoes, ketchup, green beans, and yes...Coke. man that stuff is sooo good!!! and other things I can't think of right now! hahaha....but my most favorite favorite baby food is the Dutch Apple Dessert by Gerber. yum yum yum....mmmm..I wonder if mommy can give me some more of that tomorrow??? I hope so!!

Hello!

Sorry it has taken me so long to update. But things are still going well for the Mayo family. Luke was sick this past weekend with a cold. but is doing better now, he still has a runny nose, but i think that might have a little to do with his teeth too. I hope he cuts them soon, we think he might because he is chewing on everything more than he ever has and is a little more cranky.

We lowered Luke's bed down to the next level finally. He is getting so mobile with his rolling around (no crawling yet!!) that I thought one day he would just pull himself up and then he would fall right out. so we moved it down. and he looks so cute in his "big boy bed" hahah...thats what we call it. Here are some pics of him the other day watching his Ocean World.

Luke and Daddy also built their first fort this weekend too. Luke loved it! and of course I asked if I could join and Luke and Daddy said no girls were allowed. that's okay. Daddy and Luke can have their fort! hahaha. it starts....soon he will saying that when he has friends over.

We also moved him up to his new carseat. He really likes it a lot! he can see out the windows better and can now see himself in the mirror we have placed in the back seat so we can see him. Here are some pics of him trying it out before we put it in the car....

Grammy bought him this outfit a while ago and it is a size 3-6 months but is still to big for him. I dont know if he will ever get to wear it to church now that the weather is getting warmer, but he looks so darn cute in it. notice that look he has on his face in the first one....I honestly don't know where he gets it! teehee

These next pics are of him eating his biscuit the other day. He loves to feed himself now. He such an independant little guy. He can also hold his bottle now...well...when he is laying down and I still have to help him if it tips over sometimes, but he's getting it!

Yesterday Brandon went to lay Luke down for a nap and I was waiting for him to come back into the living room, but he was gone for like 30 minutes. I just thought that they were either playing or Brandon was patting him to sleep. This is what I found when I went back. hahahaha...so cute!

Well, everyone enjoy their week! its supposed to be nice towards the end of it and over the weekend! I can't wait to get Luke out more. See ya!

Middle of the Week

well, tomorrow is Wednesday. the middle of the week. It seems this week has flown by. Sunday was Easter, Monday Luke and I had class, and today we went and visited with Krissy and her kiddos. Tomorrow we have off and then Thursday I am watching my friends kiddos. One busy week. But we have had fun so far!

I hope everyone had a good Easter! Luke did. The Easter Bunny treated him well for his first one and he got lots of goodies. An Easter Basket from the Easter Bunny, Grandma and Grandpa Mayo, Auntie Emily, and Grammy! He got lots of baby food and juices and even some new little Gerber Puffs to snack on. He really likes those. Here are some pictures of his day!

busy week

Hey all,

Sorry it has taken me so long to update again. Brandon, Luke, and I have been pretty busy. especially with all the nice weather, we've been outside a lot! Luke loves to go for walks in his stroller and absolutely loves to be outdoors. Of course now it's like 40 degrees out, so i finally have time to sit down and do this.

Luke is learning all day every day! He is so smart and can figure out things very easily. We have now moved his moniter in his room from off the side of the crib to down to a table, because he has figured out how to knock it off and play with the cord. of course when i found him in there running his fingers through the cord he just smiled real big like, "see how smart i am mom!" what a stinker!

Here are some pictures from Monday in his new outfit. We had class at the library that morning, then went to visit daddy at his work, and then had lunch with Grammy, Great Grandma Fish, Auntie, and Aunt Tami. then came home and played outside!

This is really cute too! He loves watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the Disney Channel every morning at 830am.

and here he is in his new "car" we pulled him around the house in it and he really liked it!

and here is some playing with his cabbage patch doll. its name is Bruce...(no that is not the name we gave it, it came with that name. hahaha)

and i have been wanting to post this for a while, but forgot! here is Luke with cousin Brea who is only 9 days older than him. (but is 2 lbs heavier!! hahaha...Luke is little!)

Also, if you could keep my mom in your prayers tomorrow, she will be having a procedure done at the IU hospital downtown to help with all the stomach issues she has been having for the past 2 months. This should completely make her better. (she has been having some stomach problems that have prohibited her to eat and she has been ordered to be on a liquid diet for the past 2 months) thanks!
