The boys are back in town...

Okay...not really boys...but my sister! She got back from Mexico a little while ago and boy did we miss her!
"Thanks Auntie for letting me use your phone..."
"No problem Lukie, are you texting someone?????!!!!!!!!!" "You better not be texting lots of the ladies...I'll take my phone back little ladies man!"
" Smile!"

"Now give a goofy face....well...Luke you give a goofy face!" HA!
We also had a playdate with Aidan this week. You may remember a few posts of them hanging out together in the past. Here is their first playdate, and then another, and another.
Check out these handsome boys chillin in Luke's Crib (well...not really his crib...but you get my point)
"So Aidan...do you want some juice or milk or something?"
"I'll run and get it!"
"Well, we'll wait. We'll just play it cool right here for now." "I said we can wait! where are you going???"
No...they werent really going after milk or juice or anything. They are pretty much all boys...and it's hard to get a good shot of just Luke these days...let alone Luke with anyone else.
Thanks for coming over and hanging out Emily and Aidan. It was good to see you again. I can't believe how big our boys are getting now!

A home away from home...

A play house like this looks like tons of fun doesn't it??
Photobucket
but...who needs to buy something like that when this works just as great!!
He LOVES IT.
One afternoon we went outside to paint it and make it look more colorful....
I'm pretty sure his plate was more colorful than his "house" :)
It provides hours and hours of fun entertainment! Thanks for the FREE box house Grammy and Grandpa Jeff....

Where's Luke?

so Luke..tell us...how much do you love your box house?

take me out to the ballgame...

Thursday night we took Luke to his first Indian's game! He loved it and had lots of fun. We went with some friends from our small group and their kids (and soon to be kids :) )
Here is Luke cheesing it up before the game started. Taking time out to pose with Mom.
"Dad, was that a homerun!?"
Getting a play by play from Dad
and being just too darn cute....

Dad and Luke
Attempting another picture...he wasn't to happy this time around.
"Take me out to the ball game...take me out to the crowd...buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks..." 7th inning stretch! Running around all hyped up from an ICEE...which he loved. Dad turned his hat inside out for good luck and Luke just ran around our blanket for pretty much the whole 9th inning.

Sadly, the Indians lost. But that was okay...we still had a blast!!

Time already??

cute story that happened like 10 minutes ago...

The doorbell rings.

"Honey! Someone is at the door!" (Sarah)

Daddy and Luke walk to answer it.

"hey guys...whatcha out doing?" (Brandon)

"Can Luke come out and play???" (2 little neighbor boys)

"Not right now...I'm going to watch some horse racing then we might be out later" (Brandon)

"Okay. WOW! He has a lot of toys!!" (one of the neighbor boys says as he looks into the playroom and then they both come inside.)

Brandon looked at me and was like "what do we do?"

I just laughed...and said "well tell them they need to leave"

"Okay guys...do your moms know you are in here?"

"NO, but..."

"well you better go back outside so they don't worry"

The 2 boys left and Luke shouted at them through the window.

Seriously. How cute is that? He has friends! They asked him to come out and play! I LOVE IT!!!!

Rain Rain Go Away...

Here is how we spent our stormy/rainy Tuesday...
...just loungin on the couch.... ......and more lounging......
.....and not wanting to smile for the camera...but still lounging...
....watching the rain from the patio door.....
....and deciding it was time to decorate the bathroom and the hallway with wet toilet paper....yes...that he dipped in the toilet. see how funny he thought it was! yeah...really funny Luke! You didn't have to clean up itty bitty pieces of wet toilet paper around the house. thanks buddy!

yes...oh yes....he is wiping the floor with the wet toilet paper...isnt that fabulous!!
