Luke's new trick..

Here is a video of Luke doing his new thing. He can sign "more" yay!! we have been using baby sign language with him since he was born...well since he could really notice us at least. and it has finally paid off! yay!

Here is another video to show you the extint of his crawling. He won't do it yet, but he just rolls and rolls. Here is just goes back and forth, back and forth, and kicks his legs like he is swimming. haha! someday he will crawl...maybe someday!

Happy Late Mother's Day to all the Mommies!

Hey everybody, it's me, Luke. We had a very busy weekend this past weekend. On Friday night, Mommy and Daddy had the inspection on our house and took me to HH Gregg where they ordered their new appliances for our new house. Mom said she can't wait to use her new washer and dryer!! I don't know why though....she is so silly.

Then on Saturday we went to visit and have a brunch with Grammy for Mother's Day. It was fun. I got to see great-grandma Fish, Grandpa Jeff, and of course Grammy. She loved her flowers and baby angel we got her. Mom tried to find her camera to get pictures, but she said she couldn't find it. Oh, well. We had fun though! I got to sit like a big boy in my new high chair that Grammy got too. I really liked it.

Then on Sunday, that was Mother's Day, I gave Mommy a card that said, "Happy Mother's Day from your wild child" hahaha...she thought it was very funny and gave me a big big hug. Then we went to church. After church, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a cookout. Man, that was fun too. I got to ride on Grandpa's BIG 4-Weeler for the first time with Daddy. I LOVED IT!! I also got some of my first mail this week! It was a book from the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Mommy signed me up so that I could get one book a month until I turn 6 years old! Mommy said that is a LOT of books and that they will help me learn to read, I believe her and can't wait! Here I am with my new book! and here is a picture of me with my Great-Grandpa Fish. He is one funny guy....and everybody says he looks like some actor....a Jack somebody... And here I am today with my daddy...I love him so much. On Friday night when we were at HH Gregg, I said "da da" for the first time. Mommy and Daddy were so suprised. I knew I could say it all along. Now I say it all the time to get a reaction. Mommy tries to get me to say "ma ma" again, but "da da" is way more fun! I also went out to lunch this week with Grammy. We had fun and I ate a lot of food that day! 2 whole jars of baby food, plus a lot of my favorite snack, Gerber Puffs. Yum YUM! Here are a few pics of me in my high chair.

Well, that is all for now. Mommy hasn't had the camera out for a while, maybe she will get it out more this week. I want to pose!

one busy week at the Mayos!

Hey everybody! We have had one busy week. We sold our house last Monday and accepted an offer on another one on Friday. So, as of May 21 we will own a home in Avon. We are very excited about the move, we will be closer to our family and friends. We are planning on moving over memorial day weekend. But we don't technically have to be out of this house until June 7. So we have a little bit of extra time to get it fixed up the way we want before we move in.
Just wanted to share that good news with everybody!

The orchestra music put him to sleep! it was soo funny to watch him...he literally "fell" asleep in Brandon's lap!

And here he is with Uncle Cory....Luke loves to wear his sunglasses. It is so funny to watch him in them. He will keep them on for a long time too.

a week with friends!

Luke and Mommy had a busy week playing with all his friends! On Monday, we went to the Children's Museum with Ava and Isaac and their mommies, our friends from the library. and today we had lunch with Aiden and his mommy. it was so much fun. Luke LOVES to play with other babies.

we have a busy weekend ahead of us with Uncle Dustin graduating, and I may even get to see my friend Kate on Sunday. I will take tons of pics!

we also have an update on our home. It sold on Monday!! whoo hoo! our investment home in Brownsburg also sold on Monday. so we are in the process of figuring out where we will go next. we have looked at a house in avon that we really like so hopefully that will come through. thanks for the prayers everybody!
