Beyond Measure

"The fog has finally cleared to see, the beautiful life you've given me.
To feel the breeze of my newborn's gentle breath.
With one to walk hand in hand, to share this life that you have planned.
It's like a storybook with dreams that are meant to see.
Every next step's an extraordinary scene.

I know that I've been given even more than beyond measure, I come alive when I see beyond my fears. I know that i've been given more than earthly treasure, I come alive when I've broken down and given You control.

Everything that I have has been given so unselfishly and shown that even when I dont deserve You always show the fullness of Your love."

Brandon and I were listening to one of our favorite artists last night, Jeremy Camp. I have always known that Brandon and I are so blessed to have what we do, but this song puts it all in perspective. God has truely given us so much and we never want to take it for granted and I think that sometimes that can happen so easily. We are going to have to really trust in Him to get us through these next few months because our house will be up for sale as of today. We have bought a house in Brownsburg as an investment opportunity and close on that sometime in Feb. We will be making a few changes to that and then putting that one on the market too. If this house sells first, then we will move into the Brownsburg home. If the Brownsburg home sells first, we will stay here and keep this one on the market and look for a new home. If they sell at the same time...well....we will look for a home we can move into right away. So many things can happen, but we are trusting that God has a plan and knows where we will end up.

Luke is now four months old!! yes...four months old. I cant believe it! We went to the doctor yesterday and weighed in at 13lbs and 3 oz, 25 inches long, and a head circ. of 16 inches! whoo hoo! he's getting so big! He really likes the new doctor we are seeing now, he just sits and stares at him and all the decorations in the office. its so much more fun to take him to the doctor now. He didnt however, like his shots. Poor guy got all five done at once yesterday. 2 in each leg and then an oral one. (he just sucked that one like he would tylenol) I have to say, watching your baby boy get shots is not a fun experience. He just looks at you like, "WHY??" after about the third one, i think i was starting to get tears in my eyes! poor little mister man!!! He's doing good now though. He's on tylenol and doing great. he woke up all smiles this morning after a FULL nights rest of 11 hours!! yes...he never woke up once!! we didnt have to get up and flip him over in the middle of the night....he slept on his belly all night long! yay! I know that he has giggled a few times before at me and at Grammy, but yesterday for the first time, he laughed out loud at Brandon! Twice! it was the sweetest sound in the whole wide world. At least we know he can laugh now...haha..i think he would just rather smile and talk right now than laugh....

He also had carrots today for lunch...yummy...he LOVED them...man this kid can eat!

Brandon and I are going to a "Ball" this weekend. We have to get dressed up and everything, it says "Black Tie Optional". This will be nice to get out of "mom" clothes and go out on a date. I'll try to get pics and post them. have a great day!
