Myrtle Beach

Hey everyone! we are back from our trip. We had such a good time in Myrtle Beach, and it was so good to get away and have lots of family time. Luke really enjoyed it too. His favorite thing was the pool, esp. the Lazy Rivers, but he liked to watch the ocean. He wasn't a big fan of the sand, especially after he ate it. LOL. We don't think he liked to feel it on his hands and feet to much. Well...these are just some of the 170 pictures we took while we were down there. Enjoy!
to compare year to year...

Myrtle Beach 2006

Myrtle Beach 2007
Luke was there both times....he just didn't know it. :)

I also want to apologize for going so long between posts. We had a busy week last week with our dog being so sick. and we did end up having to put her down on Saturday morning. that was one sad day, but Brandon and I are doing okay today. The weekend was horrible....we miss her sooooo much. we still do. but each day it gets a little easier. We are at peace with her being gone, because it really seemed like she was starting to suffer towards the end of the week last week, but we just want her to still be with us. Luke has only noticed her gone one time so far and kept saying "girl, girl, girl" over and over while looking for her. That was so sad. But as of today...the tears have stopped (for now :) ) and they arent as frequent as they were over the weekend. Thank you to all of you who came to see her Friday night and called us all weekend. You don't know how much your prayers and encouragment helped us through this time. Keep praying that we still feel peace and the sadness in our hearts won't last.
