We're back from Tennessee...

Over Labor Day weekend we headed down to Norris Lake in Tennesse with some good friends of ours. It was a blast...and Luke loved it a lot more than he did last year! We really had a nice and relaxing time soaking up the sun, riding in the boat, and making memories that will last forever. (disclaimer * Be ready for a picture overload!)

Me and Jenina on our evening boat ride....which was sooooooo relaxing.

Luke and Chris talking to "Bruce" Luke's cabbage patch doll.

Daddy and Luke trecking down those stairs! It sure was a climb...but totally worth it.

Awww...the little family.

How cute is this kid?? What a ham!

He loved riding fast with his arms in up in the air! too cute...

Swiming in the lake...he was NOT happy about it. Even though he had a life jacket AND floaties. silly guy.

So we stuck him in his raft....he was much much happier.

Don't worry mom, we were there the whole time! we didn't just let him float by himself...although this picture is pretty funny! looks like we did huh??

Now you see him..........

Now you don't. He moves so fast these days!!!

Driving the boat...well, thinking he is driving the boat.

Totally and utterly relaxed.

He loved going back and forth between the back and the front of the boat. He finally stopped long enough in the front to get some pictures. He is always on the go.

And apparently it was time for gymnastics?? what?!? He thought this was so funny. Which...really..it was!

It really was a great trip and we can't wait to do it again NEXT year!!

I will leave you with some of my favorite black and whites I took down there.

OK Lukey, grammy was a little worried about this trip mom and dad took you on and I knew that they would put you behind that boat without some one next to you. And there is proof in the picture. I am so glad that you came back safe and sound. What am I going to do with your parents. Maybe a long time out is in order. Grammy will explain parenthood to mommy and daddy sometime and hopefully this will not happen again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, it looks like you had a lot of fun. grammy loves you and give mom a kiss from me!!! Love grammy

Three things:

1. Missy, no mooning mentioning ever again. That has been thrown into the lake of forgotten memories (or I'm trying to throw it there, anyway).

2. The picture of Luke floating in the raft is awesome! Don't let anyone send it to CPS! Ha ha ha!

3. Chris has been asking for a Cabbage Patch doll since we got home. He wants to name him Neverrentacondowithpinkcarpetagain.

Hey Luke,
I am soo happy I got to see you on Saturday. You were as cute as ever. I have really missed you a lot lately. And your mommy too. Tell her thank you sooo much for a wonderful shower. She's the best. I am sure you already know that though. Well I love you guys and can't wait to see you soon.
